Astrify ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the Astrify mobile application, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. By using Astrify, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Data We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide personalised horoscope content:

• Birth date — required to calculate your sun sign and natal chart.
• Birth time — optional. Used to calculate your rising sign. If not provided, calculations are flagged as approximate.
• Birth city — required for natal chart calculations. Only the city name is stored; we do not track your current location.
• Email address — collected when you create an account, used for authentication only.
• Notification preferences — your chosen daily alert time and opt-in status. Stored on your device and synced to your account. Local notifications are generated entirely on-device; no notification content is transmitted to our servers.
• Language preference — your selected app language. Stored locally and synced to your account to ensure a consistent experience across devices.

We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, precise location data, contacts, or any other personal data beyond the above.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to generate personalised horoscope content within the app. Specifically:

• Birth data is used to calculate your natal chart and derive astrological positions.
• Your email is used for account authentication and to send account-related communications (e.g., password reset). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit opt-in.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with access controls and encryption in transit (HTTPS). Birth data is never transmitted to AI providers in personally identifiable form — only aggregated astrological data (e.g., zodiac sign, planetary positions) is used in AI prompt construction.

Third-Party Services

Astrify uses the following third-party services:

• Google Gemini API — Used to generate horoscope content. Receives zodiac sign and planetary transit data only. No personally identifiable information is sent.
• ElevenLabs — Reserved for a future audio digest feature. No personal data is sent to ElevenLabs at this time.

We do not use any analytics services, advertising networks, crash reporting tools, or social media SDKs that collect user data.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights under GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA (California):

• Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion — Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Portability — Request your data in a portable format.

Children

Astrify is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via an in-app notice. Continued use of the app after the effective date of a revised policy constitutes acceptance of the changes.
